| so i was seriously debating about whether or not i'd post this but i just had to.
tonight, i went to olive garden in brea with one of my buddies. we were both pretty hungry so we just sat down and wanted to order. midway through our dinner, we noticed that there was a table of three across from us (a guy, girl and someone that looks to be the girl's mother). we didn't really notice anything out of the ordinary so we continued eating. a little while later, my friend gave me the "eye point" (sorta like the eyebrow raise but more like looking at me, then looking at another direction). as i turned my head, i noticed that homeboy was holding a ring box. someone was gonna propose at OLIVE GARDEN!?! why olive garden!? well anyway, his every intention was to set up the convo to get to the proposal. we were pretty much staring at them so it was sorta funny. so we were semi-listening to their conversation and, in essence, it covered pretty much the gist of their relationship up-to-date.
keep in mind that homeboy did NOT even touch his food at all. he asked for a to-go box to take it all away...haha funny. the mom was just sitting there, not saying anything. i was soooorta...under the impression that this girl was just graduating high school because she had a bouquet of roses next to her, he was dressed up...and it was the bf, her, and the mother...PLUS i knew that there were graduations happening around that area and at that time so...it was a possibility. anyway, as he was talking about their relationship, she kept stopping him and disagreeing with his reasoning. what had started off as a proposal dinner ended up being a justification as to why he thought he was ready and how she didn't see it yet. HE GOT SHOT DOWN BEFORE HE EVEN PROPOSED!
my thought is that if homeboy had to justify their relationship to the GIRLFRIEND, then there are issues that a proposal does not fix. i'm sure these are one of those "you had to have been there" incidents but yeah, just wanted to share. my friend and i even stayed there like 30 mins longer just to see the proposal. sigh, how sad.
in other news, 7 more weeks until the kanye west project is in full effect. ahhhh!!

| alright so for those of you that have seen x-men 3, i have a question for you...
did magneto make the chess piece MOVE after he had his powers taken away?
my thoughts: i think the scene was a portrayal of a "grumpy old man" that was trying to re-live his past by attempting to make the metal chess piece move...but to no avail. i did NOT see any chess piece shift or move at all. the possibility of it actually moving might cause us to consider the thought that magneto might still have his powers, thus causing rumors for an x-men 4. i don't think it happened.
